When did you join Illinois Neurological Institute?
I began my career at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in 1995 and joined the Illinois Neurological Institute when it was formed.
I am married and my wife and I have two children, a son and a daughter.
I enjoy golf, badminton and Ping-Pong.
What medical change has impacted your specialty the most since you began practicing medicine?
Electronic medical records for patients.
Why did you choose your specialty?
Because it’s a challenge to figure out the brain.
Why did you choose Peoria, Illinois, to practice when you could have gone anywhere in the country?
There was a wonderful opportunity to create a world-class Stroke program.
