We're not a "big" hospital, but if you've never been here before, you might feel nervous about finding a particular department once you arrive.
We want your experience to be excellent. That's why we have volunteers whose sole purpose is to walk you to your destination.
Simply ask for assistance at the information desk located in our front lobby. You can also call the Volunteer Services department at (815) 431-5432 ahead of time and someone will meet you in the lobby.
Hours
It would be our pleasure to escort you to lab, diagnostic imaging, outpatient services - wherever you need to go! We have volunteers standing by on weekdays from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Our volunteers frequently transport patients, lab specimens, medical records, nourishments and medications to various departments throughout the hospital throughout the hospital. They know the routes and the ropes - you can count on them!
