It's no secret that not being well rested can affect your daily routine and quality of life. But did you know that serious medical conditions - like heart failure, kidney disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, stroke, obesity, and depression - have been linked to sleep disorders?
Sleep studies can reveal sleep-related breathing disorders, such as sleep apnea. We can help you get the good night's sleep you need and deserve.
Completing a Study - Sleep Center
You will need a doctor’s order to schedule a study at our Sleep Center. Ask your physician for a referral to a sleep specialist if you believe a study may be beneficial.
Our newly designed Sleep Center is located at 1601 Mercury Circle on the OSF Saint Elizabeth campus and features the following amenities:
- Four private bedrooms & baths for patient studies
- Large, handicapped accessible bathrooms
- Individual climate control and ceiling fans
- Queen sized beds
- Flat screen TVs
Following Up with a Physician - Sleep Clinic
Once you are referred to a sleep specialist, a member of our staff will contact you to schedule your sleep study in addition to any corresponding physician visits. Your appointment will be held at the Sleep Clinic within an OSF Medical Group building on Norris Drive, also located on the hospital campus.
Please Note: Our Sleep Center and our Sleep Clinic are not housed within the same building. Please reference the locations section above prior to your appointment.
