Every mother and infant couple is unique. Therefore, each breastfeeding experience writes its own story.

The Breastfeeding Resource Center offers 2 options for breastfeeding preparation:

Option one is an in person interactive class designed to start your story with understanding of basic breastfeeding principles that help lead to good infant latch and milk supply. The IBCLC (Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant) facilitating the class will discuss realistic expectations during the first week after delivery. 

Option two is a one on one consultation with an IBCLC addressing the above principles and focusing on specific issues that concern you.    

We suggest you choose either option during your 2nd or 3rd trimester and before 37 weeks of pregnancy. Whatever your birth story will be, we are here to encourage you in your breastfeeding journey!
