Genitourinary (GU) Clinic

Quality cancer treatment depends upon careful coordination between multiple treatments and treatment providers, the exchange of technical information, and regular communication between all providers and physician disciplines involved in treatment.

We have a special team.

The Genitourinary (GU) Multidisciplinary Cancer Clinic is dedicated to the care of patients with urologic malignancies.  We take a team-based approach, bringing together multiple specialists with expertise in the treatment and research of these diseases. Rad_Onc_Conf_20141015_98.jpg

At diagnosis, our patients come in for one visit and see physicians in all disciplines, including medical oncology, radiation oncology and surgery. At this initial visit, our team meets with the patient to present a recommended plan of care. Our experienced staff coordinates treatment, as well as all necessary follow-up and rehabilitation, so that patients can focus all their energies on recovery.

We provide care for GU patients who have or are at risk for the following types of cancer:

  • Prostate
  • Bladder
  • Kidney
  • Penile
  • Testicular
  • Ureter
