Lung Nodule Clinic
Discovering a lung nodule can be a cause of great stress and anxiety. Determining whether a lung nodule is benign or malignant is an important first step in achieving the best possible outcome. We will provide you with coordinated and efficient care during this time and get you answers to your questions.
Illinois Lung & Critical Care Institute, a part of OSF HealthCare, is the region's premier provider of advanced treatment for critical care, pulmonary, and sleep medicine. Founded in 1982, as Peoria Pulmonary, our practice name has changed several times to reflect the expanding role our physicians serve in the local medical community. We provide patients with the best in clinical practices and technology.
Illinois Lung & Critical Care Institute has established the Lung Nodule Clinic to provide an infrastructure for appropriate monitoring and/or diagnostic interventions for those individuals in whom low dose CT Lung Cancer Screening reveals indeterminate or suspicious lung nodules.
The physicians, Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) and nursing staff are expert diagnosticians and practitioners who stay ahead of the curve in recognizing and treating lung nodules and lesions. The Lung Nodule Clinic has been created to track patients, provide follow up and, if necessary, support those who receive a lung cancer diagnosis.
