Pre-Employment Exams

Pre-employment physical examinations focus on a person’s ability to perform the duties of the job safely and can cover a broad range of abilities.

A basic pre-employment exam may include:

  • Job-specific health history
  • Physical examination
  • Vision testing
  • Spirometry testing – lung function test, some industries require it, pulmonary function
  • Lab work
  • Required vaccinations (i.e., Hepatitis B vaccination)
