PAD affects about 8.5 million Americans, becoming more common as we age. PAD is dangerous because reduced blood flow to your legs can damage cells and tissue in the limbs, organs and even in the brain. PAD may also be a sign of other circulatory problems. Jesse Vanle MD, Cardiovascular surgeon at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center will discuss risks, symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment for PAD. Don’t let PAD stop you. Walk on the road to good health. It’s a journey worth taking.
