Cost Reduction Technologies (CRT) is the national preferred employment screening vendor for many insurance companies and their clients throughout the United States and is approved by the American with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Through the use of isokinetic technology, the CRT machine is able to measure strength and flexibility of muscles and joints through their entire range of motion. CRT testing aids physicians in supporting claimants’ complaints, justifying work restrictions, supporting need for further diagnostics, and identifying an effective short-term rehab model.
The CRT test has been incorporated into the functional capacity evaluation (FCE) process, allowing doctors to identify the variance in strength and agility between an injured joint and non-injured joint, which can be used to verify musculoskeletal disorder claims or identify fraudulent and malingering claims by using joint comparison.
