The Healthcare Analytics team at OSF specializes in utilizing advanced analytics techniques to serve high-performing care delivery teams and their patients. Team members work closely with business and clinical leaders to understand problems, define focus questions, prepare relevant and accurate data and develop effective models to answer focus questions. We implement solutions to support appropriate interventions to improve business processes and quality outcomes.
There are many complex issues to solve for and many ways to get there. How do we stay focused as we move forward?
In collaboration with universities, business partners and philanthropists, we’ve created eight OSF Innovation Labs to explore, develop, test and scale solutions to achieve the goals of our focus areas.
Office of Innovation Management
As OSF HealthCare continues to take on the challenges of the ever-changing health care landscape, whether it be technology, accessibility, affordability or patient outcomes, it is critical that innovation is the catalyst to that change. Continued transformation is a must. And it is crucial that our Mission Partners be front and center to that transformation.
To support that need, OSF Innovation, through the OSF Office of Innovation Management (OIM) is establishing the Trailblazer process. A process open to all OSF Mission Partners, OIM provides support every step of the way and just might open doors for you as well. If you have an invention that just might be marketable while also supporting the OSF Mission, then this may be just what you’ve been looking for.
OSF utilizes simulation training through Jump Simulation & Education Center to provide an engaging learning environment and familiarize learners with medical procedures in a simulated setting prior to working with actual patients. This allows learners to acquire a reliable skill set and the opportunity to master their skills through consistent practice. The goal of this work is to ultimately improve patient outcomes and reduce health care spending.
The work taking place in each of these spaces is driving new possibilities to eventually test and adopt with our health care system.
