How are OSF Urgo clinics staffed?
Each OSF Urgo clinic is staffed by two certified medical assistants (CMA), one radiology technologist and one advanced practice nurse. The CMAs and radiology technologist are known as Care Guides and stay with you throughout the visit.
When should I choose OSF Urgo for care?
If you or a family member are ill or have suffered a minor injury that does not pose an immediate threat to their health or life, OSF Urgo is likely the right choice instead of going to an emergency department. If the medical condition is serious or life-threatening, you should call 911 immediately or get to the nearest emergency department.
