Dr. Mike Glavin recognized as Culture of Philanthropy Honoree

The OSF HeathCare Foundation is pleased to announce Dr. Mike Galvin as the Northern Regional Culture of Philanthropy Honoree.

Dr. Glavin was nominated as a worthy leader amongst their peers for holding outstanding philanthropic values. He is a board certified psychiatrist, serving Ottawa for 21 years. Dr. Glavin has a long history of leadership and is the Medical Director of OSF HealthCare Saint Elizabeth Mental Health Program.

When Ottawa Regional Hospital became integrated with OSF HealthCare and changed its name to OSF Saint Elizabeth Medical Center in 2012, Dr. Glavin embraced and advocated the Sisters’ Mission throughout the hospital and community. He continues to promote community collaboration and strategic partnerships.

Dr. Glavin was instrumental in securing transformational funds to help build the Behavioral Health Outpatient Facility, formerly known as CHOICES. He maintains communication with major donors throughout the community to raise funds for facility updates and behavioral programs. Dr. Glavin embodies the Sisters’ Mission in his daily work and makes it a priority to ensure community members have access to behavioral health services and care they need.

Mike is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and serves as committee chairman at OSF Saint Elizabeth. He resides in LaSalle with his wife, Bronwyn.
