In honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, Terri Hoelle, Board Member of the Princeton Closet, donated several boxes of brand new undergarments to the Perry Memorial Hospital Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners, Erika Dalrymple and Kim Morse.  The clothing was recently donated to the Princeton Closet by the Walmart Distribution Center.

The SANE service began in 2019 when Freedom House, along with other area partners, collaborated to receive a federal grant for services in the Illinois Valley area.  Erika and Kim had a goal to make a difference for sexual assault victims, both female and male.  Their services have been provided to more than 35 sexual assault victims in the last year and a half.  Through their service, victims of sexual assault benefit from a community response, and leave with documentation to better hold offenders accountable.
