Philosophy of Care My philosophy is to achieve the best, most simple treatment plan while considering the unique needs of the individual. It is important to me to take the time for my patients to understand their course of care and make them comfortable with me.

Dr. Wilmes was raised in the rural town of Maryville, Missouri, and enjoys the mindset and values of a small community.
“I wanted to work for an organization that has the same values of accountability and respect that I loved most about the community where I was raised,” Dr. Wilmes said.
He pursued a medical career because he wants to help people.
“Medicine offered an opportunity to provide a connection to others during a time when many people feel isolated,” Dr. Wilmes said. “It’s rewarding to be able to provide a tangible solution to those in need.”
Dr. Wilmes likes to use a direct approach to care.
“My philosophy is to achieve the best, most straightforward, and simple treatment plan while taking into consideration the unique needs of my patients,” Dr. Wilmes said. “It is important to take the time for my patients to fully understand their course of care and feel comfortable with me as a provider.”
When not working, Dr. Wilmes enjoys spending time with friends, family and his Labrador, Oscar, as well as water skiing, wakeboarding, exercising, traveling and live music.
