Soujanya Bogarapu, MD, was interested in a career in medicine from a very young age, but found her passion for pediatric cardiology during her training.
“I was the best version of myself, when caring for kids. Children suffering with heart disease touched me to the core, and the motive to help them propelled me to pursue a career in pediatric cardiology,” she said.
Treating children with congenital heart disease, Dr. Bogarapu puts families at the center of her practice.
“I try my best to make the family especially the child very comfortable. My motto prior to every decision that I make for my patients is thinking ‘Is this something that I would do if my own child was in that place?’” Dr. Bogarapu said.
