Connections 106: Patient Feedback

Regularly the OSF Supportive Care teams collect feedback from patients who have received palliative care at one of our OSF hospitals as well as their family members. Below are some statements from some very satisfied patients and family members.

Thank you for all your support at this difficult time. I’m doing well.

Thanks so much for all you did! You all made the difference! Bless you all!

Please let your staff know how much I thank them for how wonderful they treated my father on his last days here with his family. I do not have enough adjectives to use on how wonderful everyone there was to us and my dad. Thank you.

I have completed the enclosed survey that you requested. I would like to let you know how much our family appreciated the kind and compassionate care that the members of the OSF Palliative Care team gave our Mother and ourselves during the time she was a patient at OSF. It helped so much to be given information on what could be expected during Mother’s time both at the hospital and later in a skilled nursing home. The wonderful support we received from your team helped us to make informative decisions about her care. Thank you again….you are a wonderful organization!

God bless all the angels working in your hospital. Excellent people!

Let me take this opportunity to extend my sincere appreciation to all of you providing palliative care in the spirit of our Mission, “…to serve persons with the greatest care and love…
