My name is Victoria Hopp, and I am the counselor for Saint Francis College of Nursing and Saint Anthony College of Nursing. My professional background includes working with students, families and educators in both school and community settings. Throughout my career, I've been passionate about helping people navigate challenges, build resilience and achieve their goals.
My role is simple: to support you.
As your counselor, I hope to provide you with the same support that I’ve received in my life. One of my favorite parts about counseling is that it’s not just for the big things. Sometimes we need support for the seemingly small things, too.
Each person balances multiple things every day and taking care of ourselves is typically the first thing to set aside during busy seasons. Those that care for others need to be refueled themselves, which is why counseling is beneficial. As your counselor, I can be someone to stand by you and with you through this season. I use a holistic approach, focusing on the whole person – emotional wellness, spiritual wellness, intellectual wellness, physical wellness, environmental wellness, social wellness and financial wellness. With this approach, if one area is out of balance, our whole self is out of balance. Through counseling, I use mindfulness tools, coping skills and a space to talk confidentially regarding current and past experiences, so your overall health can be refined and balanced.
