Upon successful completion of this program, the graduate will be eligible to sit for the national Neonatal Nurse Practitioner certification examination offered by the National Certification Corporation.
Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Neonatal Nurse Practitioner applicants must have the equivalent of two years full-time clinical experience as an RN in a Level III or IV NICU within the past five years before starting clinical courses. May start theory courses without the required clinical experience. These applicants must hold and maintain a current Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification.
