Meet the Team
Manager – Erin Kennedy, MS, Exercise Physiologist
As the manager of the Center for Healthy Lifestyles, Erin is responsible for overseeing daily operations. She also assists businesses and organizations throughout McLean and Livingston counties with designing and implementing wellness programs.
Erin works closely with specialty physicians to promote community awareness on various health topics. Her special interests include working with those who have heart disease, diabetes, and weight management concerns.
Erin has been published in several trade magazines and journals and is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine. In 2014, Erin was honored by the YWCA of McLean County with the Women of Distinction - Professions Award. She holds a bachelor's degree in exercise science and a master's degree in exercise physiology from Illinois State University. Erin joined OSF HealthCare in 2000.
Wellness Coordinator – Michelle Brown, MS Ed
Michelle promotes and develops employee wellness programming. In addition, she assists with business and community wellness programs through health risk assessments and screenings.
Michelle earned a bachelor's degree in health education from the University of Minnesota, Morris, and a master's degree in community health from Southern Illinois University. She is a certified first aid, CPR/AED instructor through the American Red Cross and a "Freedom from Smoking" facilitator through the American Lung Association.
Her areas of interest include employee wellness and disease prevention. Michelle is the 2012 recipient for the Health Educator of the Year Award through the Cornbelt Health Educators Association. She has presented at various national conferences and is published in health related journals and magazines. Michelle has worked for OSF HealthCare since 2008.
Registered Dietitian – Kim McClintic, MS, RD, LDN
As the dietitian for the Center for Healthy Lifestyles, Kim speaks throughout the community in schools, businesses, community organizations, support groups and conferences on a variety of health and wellness topics.
Kim holds a bachelor's degree in dietetics and nutrition from Iowa State University and a master's degree in public health administration from Drake University. Kim has been published in numerous trade journals and magazines, including the Journal of the American Dietetic Association.
She has appeared in a series of education videos for corporate wellness programs and is also featured in a national educational video through Learning Zone Express titled, “Obesity in a Bottle.”
She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Central Illinois Dietetics Association. Kim is the recipient of the 2009 Public Health Award from the McLean County Board of Health. Kim has worked for OSF St. Joseph since 2000.
Exercise Physiologist – Matthew Hanks, MS, NSCA-CPT
Matt works one on one with clients to not only help them reach their personal fitness goals, but to also provide them with the education needed to continue their progress at home. His specialty areas include adult and childhood obesity, diabetes, general wellness, arthritis and disease prevention.
Matt is a certified personal trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He earned both his bachelor’s degree in exercise science and his master’s degree in sport psychology from Illinois State University.
