Any remaining charges are then usually considered the responsibility of the patient.
When you receive a bill from OSF HealthCare, the balance you see will reflect any payment made by your insurance provider.
How soon after discharge you receive a bill from OSF HealthCare will depend on how quickly the insurance provider completes its review and payment.
Once you have received a bill from OSF HealthCare, you have several options for making a payment.
If you feel you cannot pay the amount you’ve been billed, financial assistance options are also available.
