OSF HealthCare is launching a new billing platform.
We’re updating the way billing and payments are managed starting August 12, 2026. Because you have a payment plan, you may need to update certain account details and preferences in the new system. Our goal is to make this transition simple and help your payments continue without interruption.
1
Add your preferred payment method to avoid interruptions to your plan.
2
Update your paperless preferences to receive statements electronically.
3
Select your preferred way to receive billing and payment updates.
If you have questions about your payment plan or need assistance transitioning your account, please contact OSF Patient Financial Services between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. (CST), Monday through Friday. Call (800) 421-5700 and select option 1.
You are receiving a communication from OSF HealthCare – whether via text message, OSF MyChart message, phone call or printed letter – because we are trying to reach you based on a current payment plan you have on file.
We are transitioning our billing platform on August 12, 2026, and need your help updating your account to ensure your payments and notifications continue as planned.
Yes. OSF HealthCare may reach out by text, OSF MyChart message, phone call or letter regarding your account. If you have any concerns, please review the information below or contact us for assistance.
No. Your existing payment plan terms and balance will remain the same and your billing history will not be deleted. You may simply need to re-enter payment details or adjust preferences in the new system.
On or after August 12, you’ll need to log into your OSF MyChart account by either clicking this link or by accessing it through the OSF MyChart app on your phone. Once you’ve logged into your account, please complete the three steps below:
If you do not add a payment method in the new platform, scheduled payments will not continue as planned. Updating your payment information helps keep your payment plan in good standing and helps prevent interruptions.
You will still be able to view and pay your billing statements without OSF MyChart by using Guest Pay. Use the link provided here to access the page. You will need to reference the guarantor number that is listed on your billing statement to proceed without an account.
If you don’t have an account, we encourage you to learn more about OSF MyChart and sign up for easy online access to your health records.
Due to payment card industry (PCI) compliance standards for the protection of credit card data, we are unable to move personal financial information from one platform to another. Therefore, it is the patient’s responsibility to do so. Once you add your information in the new platform, it will be stored securely there.
If you do not want to keep a card or bank account on file, you will need to manually submit your payment each month through OSF MyChart, by mail or by phone. Setting up automatic payments is the most convenient way to keep your account in good standing and avoid missed payments, though it is completely optional.
Yes, if you have a valid cell phone number and/or email address on file, you will continue to receive text and email messages about your payment plan.
You will receive printed, paper statements by default unless you enable the paperless billing option in OSF MyChart. If you already have this selected within your OSF MyChart account, you will continue to receive paperless statements after August 12.
Please verify your account details. Your payment plan may have been resolved recently or you may be receiving this notice if your contact info – like your email, phone number or address – is shared with more than one patient account.
