A Healthy Life Starts Young

OSF Children’s Hospital believes there are four building blocks to a healthy life for your child. Each event features ways to incorporate these building blocks into your family’s everyday life.

Eat Well, Be Well!

Refuel your energy and enjoy a healthy snack. You'll also receive a recipe card to test out your culinary skills at home.

I Like to Move it!

Let’s burn some energy together in our obstacle course that can be easily recreated at home utilizing objects you probably have. We’ll also do a little dancing with our Just Dance Wii and a few other activities.

Believe in Yourself!

It's all about relaxation and positive thinking at this station. Coping skills are taught through relaxation and deep breathing exercises. There is also a photo station with a family-friendly art activity.

Good Night, Sleep Tight!

Because sleep is just as important as the other three building blocks, we’ll wind down our day learning how to establish a bedtime routine through a bedtime race. You’ll also test out your art skills at this station.

Raffle prizes

Every child will either receive a clock or a bedtime routine chart. A raffle will also be held at each event. Depending on which event you attend, raffle prizes may include a VTech watch, bikes, a Fitbit, AirFyers and gift cards.
