Booth #7 - Equitable Care for Patients with Sickle Cell Disease

The Marti care model combines technology, community outreach and coordinated clinical and social support to reduce medical costs, lower crisis episodes and improve daily life for patients with sickle cell disease. With tools like a portable health record, virtual peer support and AI-driven early detection, this innovation empowers equitable, patient-centered care for a traditionally underserved population.

Booth #8 - Color Me Healthy—Meet Your Care Team

OSF STEAM has created an interactive coloring book designed to help children feel more comfortable with their care team.

Geared toward a 3rd-grade coloring and reading level, the book introduces health careers through the lens of the care team children may encounter during a visit. The final version will include multilingual translations, offering an inclusive and engaging way for young patients to connect with their care team. The coloring book will be distributed in partnership with OSF HealthCare Children’s Hospital of Illinois.

Booth #9 - Pulmonary Acoustic Sensor Telemetry Array

The Pulmonary Acoustic Sensor Telemetry Array (PASTA) device offers real-time, non-invasive respiratory monitoring to detect deterioration and measure patient response to therapy, even at home. By enabling continuous monitoring, this innovation helps reduce unnecessary hospitalizations, misdiagnosis, and delayed care. With respiratory conditions being the leading cause of hospitalization in children, PASTA meets the growing demand for remote clinical care solutions.
