Brain Injury

Brain Tumor

The Brain Tumor Support Group (Meet for the Mind) meets every other month at the INI Neurosurgery office located at 200 E Pennsylvania Ave. Peoria, IL 61603 contact Cassie Richardson, RN, CNRN, brain tumor nurse navigator, at (309) 624-4000 ext. 76503 or email. .

 

Epilepsy

The group is held the 3rd Tuesday of the month from March-November The group is held at the Illinois Neurological Institute, 200 E. Pennsylvania Ave., Peoria, IL, in the first floor conference room behind the registration desk.. The group is open to patients, family, and community members. There are scheduled events and speakers throughout the year that are coordinated with help from the Epilepsy Foundation.  The group is facilitated by  Travis E. Towne, MSW, LCSW.  This group is open to community members, patients, and their families 15 years and older.

Stroke

The INI Stroke Support Group provides support for persons who have had a stroke, their families and friends. For more information, call (309) 624-8575.  

Stroke Camp -- Our mission is to provide a weekend camping experience for stroke survivors and caregivers. The retreat includes education, socialization, relaxation, great food, emotional support, and fun for all. The Retreat and Refresh Stroke Camp is an opportunity for everyone to relax and get rejuvenated.
