NaPro uses advanced laparoscopic and microsurgical methods to minimize scarring, reduce recovery time and improve overall outcomes. Unlike temporary treatments, it offers lasting solutions by correcting structural and functional issues.
By targeting underlying causes rather than bypassing them, NaPro surgical treatments improve the chances of achieving pregnancy naturally.
NaPro has been shown to have higher live birth rates than in vitro fertilization (IVF). One study found that NaPro had a 66% live birth rate, while IVF had a 23% live birth rate.
Beyond fertility, NaPro surgery alleviates chronic pain, heavy menstrual bleeding and hormonal imbalances, improving overall quality of life.
An Integrated Solution
NaPro, the Creighton Model FertilityCare™ System and restorative reproductive surgery combine to offer a comprehensive, personalized approach to reproductive health.
The Creighton Model helps you understand fertility by keeping track of your natural cycles and providing information about your hormone levels. NaPro Technology uses this data to identify and treat problems like PCOS, endometriosis and hormone imbalances. If necessary, a surgeon can perform minimally invasive surgery to fix physical issues that impact fertility, helping to restore natural functions.
Together, these methods help improve your fertility by addressing the main issues and boosting your body’s natural abilities.
What to Expect
Laparoscopic surgeries generally last one to three hours, whereas robotic surgeries may exceed 12 hours. Doctors will inform you of the expected duration when scheduling.
Most of these surgeries can be done on an outpatient basis, meaning you can go home the same day, but some might need you to stay overnight in the hospital for observation. Recovery involves around two weeks of no lifting over 10 pounds.
