Our model of care supports your unique needs.
OSF HealthCare Cancer Institute has earned recognition from U.S. News & World Report for excellence across three different cancer care and oncology programs, reflecting our commitment to delivering expert, comprehensive cancer treatment. This distinction recognizes our team’s experience, advanced treatments and wide-ranging services, helping you and your care team confidently navigate every step of your cancer journey.
OSF HealthCare Cancer Institute is participating in a phase 1 clinical trial evaluating an investigational treatment combination for adults with relapsed ovarian cancer. This research study explores a promising investigational treatment option for treating recurrent disease, reinforcing our commitment to advancing innovative cancer care through clinical research.
At OSF Cancer Institute, we offer state-of-the-art brachytherapy radiation treatment and proton therapy. Our advanced brachytherapy technology uses a CT scanner on rails, which allows us to perform the procedure with advanced image guidance, even in an operating room setting. Our proton therapy allows us to treat the hardest to reach tumors precisely and causes fewer side effects compared to traditional radiation.
When you receive a cancer diagnosis, you want answers right away. That’s why we designed Rapid Access – a process that gets you from diagnosis to first appointment immediately. You’ll get to meet with your care team and get a treatment plan designed just for you and your unique needs without waiting.
Cancer isn’t on anyone’s agenda. Life takes on a whole new meaning when you’re diagnosed. In addition to the physical impact, cancer creates countless social and emotional side effects in various aspects of life, including the lives of family members, friends and co-workers. Taking steps to prevent cancer is one of the best ways to lower your risk. You can significantly reduce your cancer risk with three decisions: Don’t smoke, stay physically active and practice good nutrition.
