During your next stay with us, you may encounter a different kind of physician: a hospitalist. Focusing on in-hospital care, a hospitalist doesn’t have to juggle a busy office schedule with hospital rounds.

That simple fact is a benefit to patients who are not hospitalized. They can have peace of mind knowing their doctor is able to devote more time to their office visit without being pulled away urgently for a hospitalized patient.

Our hospitalist program is staffed by hospitalist physicians and a complete support staff. These individuals work with your own personal physician, inform them of all major care decisions and provide them with discharge summaries regarding the care provided during your stay.

Surveys show that patients are happy with this new method of care. In fact, the majority of patients report a higher degree of satisfaction than ever before!

The hospitalist program applies to patients admitted for a general medical/surgical condition. Patients admitted for any behavioral health, obstetrical services, and other specialty specific admissions will continue to be seen by that particular specialist.
