What to Expect/Bring
On the day of your surgery, please report to Registration located, on the first floor lobby, at the time you were told to arrive by the pre-op nurse. Please make sure to bring your insurance information, including policy number and pre-certification number. To help organize your thoughts we offer a free printable flyer called Questions About My Surgery for you to write questions and takes notes on as you begin to prepare for your surgery.
When you are talking with your preoperative nurse you will need a list of all known drug allergies, and a list of any medicine you are taking including the amount and times they are taken.
For your comfort, you may want to bring your CPAP machine along a robe and slippers if you are spending the night.
- Leave jewelry, money and credit cards at home.
- Please do not bring small children with you.
- All visitors must sign in and out at the surgery waiting room desk.
- Have someone with you to who can drive you home and stay with you. You will not be able to take a taxi or bus home.
