Interests outside of pharmacy?
I love being creative, especially painting with acrylic and making custom jewelry. Otherwise, I am also an avid video game player.

Why OSF?
I mainly chose OSF due to the excellent working environment and relationships the mission partners had. Plus, OSF Saint Francis is a 600+ bed, Level I trauma hospital, so you also get a large variety of patients with various disease states that are excellent for learning.

Practice Areas of Interest: Pediatrics

Research: Combination use of IV acetaminophen and ibuprofen for patent ductus arteriosus closure in neonates

Interests outside of pharmacy?
Spending time with family and friends, puzzles, traveling, and going to concerts

Why OSF?
I was drawn to OSF Saint Francis Medical Center because of OSF Children's Hospital of Illinois and the pediatric PGY-2 program. The Children's Hospital provides an array of elective rotations within the PGY-1 residency program focused on pediatrics. The welcoming environment and friendly collaboration between pharmacy and physicians/nurses were other critical factors for me.

I love the sense of community in the OSF Children's Hospital pharmacy and the strong dedication to our pediatric patients.  Free unlimited food from the cafeteria is one of my favorite perks!
