Modern medicine now allows epilepsy to be controlled. At OSF HealthCare Illinois Neurological Institute (OSF INI) Epilepsy Center, one seizure is considered too many. Using advanced diagnostics and extensive treatment options, your OSF INI Epilepsy Center team offers hope for a life free of seizures and the side effects of epilepsy. In fact, 75% of people with epilepsy can lead a seizure-free life with the appropriate medication and treatment.

Your OSF INI team is comprised of highly-skilled medical professionals.  The OSF INI Epilepsy Center is the only Level 4 facility in Illinois, outside of Chicago. This designation is awarded by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers (NAEC) and ensures you receive the most comprehensive epilepsy treatment. A Level 4 designation in adult epilepsy treatment centers is used as one criterion when US News and World Report rank American’s Best Hospitals.

A Seizure-Free Life is Our Goal, Too

The team at the INI Comprehensive Epilepsy Center understands the urgency and life-changing impact of epilepsy. That’s why our compassionate team of doctors, nurses, technicians and social workers doesn’t just treat seizures. We help people move toward a life free from seizures and side effects.

As with all of OSF INI’s facilities, the whole person is treated, not just the condition and that’s what sets them apart. State-of-the-art treatment is used along with cutting edge science, but the human factor is never left out. Your team is highly-skilled, diverse and all members are experts in the treatment of epilepsy.
