Our Electrophysiology program provides a comprehensive range of diagnostic and therapeutic options to address any heart rhythm abnormality that may or may not be associated with congenital heart disease. (See chart below) We perform a large number of pediatric electrophysiology procedures (EP) in Illinois and are known for handling complex cases involving devices and ablations. Families from across the region come to us for our expertise.
Under the guidance of Dr. Sunita Ferns, director of Electrophysiology, our specialist team is adept at handling cases involving children of all ages. These cases include routine heart rhythm issues as well as those requiring specialized expertise.
