Diabetes management during pregnancy is crucial to the health and well-being of the mother and baby.

Our multidisciplinary team manages women with gestational, type 1, type 2 and prediabetes. We provide important education on the proper usage of medication and diet to help you achieve the healthiest pregnancy possible.

The management of diabetes during pregnancy is much different than managing diabetes when you’re not pregnant.

Diabetes should be in control before getting pregnant to reduce the risk of birth defects and miscarriage.

During pregnancy, diabetes should be tightly controlled to reduce the risk of still birth and further pregnancy complications.
